Today we said farewell to our much-loved pilot, Stu Mayor.
He flew his final mission after joining us 11 years ago.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance Chief Executive Office, Alex Lochrane, said:
“An outstanding pilot who personifies our charity values, Stu has been with us from the very beginning and will be sorely missed, not only by his colleagues, but also by members of the public who have been fortunate enough to meet him as ‘Pilot Stu’. Stu has always been fiercely proud of this charity and the role he plays, and his cheery smile and easy going manner has gained our charity many fans over the years. Thank you, Stu; you have done us proud.”
