As the sun began to rise on Sunday 26 July, Doctor Jamie Plumb was set to cycle the first of his 183 climbs of Northington Hill, as he took on the Everesting challenge in aid of HIOWAA.
Setting off at 5.30am, Doctor Jamie was cheered on by friends, family and the local residents of Northington and Swarraton, completing the final climb at 6.22pm.
Doctor Jamie has so far raised an amazing £4,007 for HIOWAA. You can help him raise even more by donating to his JustGiving page, and help keep us flying and saving lives.
“I have so many people to thank for helping yesterday, too many to name. Special mention to my Dad who got up at 4:00am and helped continuously throughout the day with lap counting, logistical and nutritional support. The support from the rest of my friends and family was incredible. I had so many nice surprises as people turned up to cheer me on throughout the day. Also, the local residents of Northington and Swarraton who turned out in force were exceptional.” Doctor Jamie Plumb
