What Giving Tuesday is all about?
Giving Tuesday, Tuesday 3rd December, is a global day of giving in the lead up to Christmas. Last year, over £7 million was donated to UK charities on the day alone.
How can I give on Giving Tuesday?
This year, we are calling on our supporters to Give Life Not Socks and help keep the Air Ambulance flying and saving lives. You can give the gift of life by donating here.
Why we need your help:
2019 has been our busiest year on record, and in July this year we experienced our busiest month to date. We have now flown over 9,000 flights since we began operations on July 1st 2007.
Earlier this year, we were called to Mike who suffered a near fatal heart attack at his home in January. His wife, Dolores, performed CPR on Mike until help arrived.
“If it were not for the Critical Care Team responding so quickly when I collapsed, I would not now be looking forward to celebrating Christmas with my wife and family and making plans for the years ahead. I cannot express how thankful we are to the Air Ambulance Critical Care Team.” – Mike.
