Last Sunday (23rd June), CoolLED Ltd took to the waters of Coate Park, Swindon, to get involved in the annual Dragon Boat Race to raise vital funds for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance (HIOWAA).
Tasked with the challenge of designing and creating their very own, custom-made dragon boats, the teams – made up of 17-20 members – then had to navigate their way through the twisting and turning 250-metre course.
As well as rowing their socks off, they raised further funds through selling raffle tickets and prizes, meaning the total raised is now over a fantastic £1,500!
