Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance (HIOWAA) paramedic, Lou Wigmore, joined over 1,200 other walkers, joggers and runners to undertake the Isle of Wight Ultra Challenge over the Bank Holiday Weekend. (Saturday 4th May)
Now in its 6th year, the gruelling challenge sees participants set off early to run 106km around the island in 24 hours. (Approximately 64 miles).
Lou completed the run just after 3am on Sunday 5th May and raised a whopping £525 for us!
