LifeLines and STEM workshops for Primary School Pupils

Wednesday 15th May

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance are now bringing their LifeLines and STEM workshops to year 5 and 6 primary school pupils!

The interactive workshops highlight the STEM skills our Critical Care Teams use everyday.

Working in teams, pupils will have the chance to become doctors, paramedics and pilots and will complete a series of tasks such as mission planning, emergency kit-prep and packaging a patient.

The hands-on practical activities are an excellent tool for encouraging young children to develop an early interest in STEM subjects as well as encouraging teamwork, communication, problem solving and decision making.

Each session lasts 60-90 minutes. There is no fee for the workshops, however, donations or fundraising is always welcome.
